"SEARCHING FOR THE NEW BOBBY FISCHER,
WASHINGTON SQUARE PARK REVISITED"

For the reopening of the Park, there will be Cross-Generation Chess play and a "Simul" conducted by International Master Alex Lenderman. He will move from board to board, making one move at a time. We expect visitors who portrayed characters in the movie and the real chess people who were portrayed. Only the first 25 players registered with a minimum rating of 1000 will participate in the Simul. Every one else is welcomed to participate in Cross-Generation Chess Play.
